National Health & Fitness Manager - Serco Leisure

Serco are currently looking for a National Health & Fitness Manager. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the operational and commercial strategy of the Health & Fitness business within Leisure. By utilising their expertise in marketing, pricing, retailing, identifying and targeting new customers, as well as retaining existing customers, the strategy for our National offering and the growth of Health & Fitness sits with this role.



 



Key Responsibilities



  • Working with the Commercial Director to develop a National Health & Fitness strategy designed to strengthen and grow our existing offering across all our centres, along with a delivery plan for its introduction and roll out.

  • Development and delivery of customer revenue growth through Health & Fitness marketing, retailing and pricing initiatives.

  • Implement the strategy in partnership with the senior management team and contract management team.

  • Work with the relevant teams to develop the sales and marketing elements of the Health & Fitness service, to ensure that the current and future sales are delivering targets with robust processes and procedures.  

  • Driving the best practice retail and distribution technology to ensure it is fit for the delivery of targets and fits the ‘customer experience’

  • Develop, in partnership with other with key personnel and partners appropriate protocols and processes which will underpin the Health & Fitness strategy.

  • Lead, direct and motivate contract management teams to deliver strategy

  • Work with Commercial Director to ensure an appropriate set of KPI’s are in place on which to manage business performance.

  • Understand and report gaps within Health & Fitness delivery and devise appropriate solutions.

  • Designing and implementing a Health & Fitness strategy tailored to the demographic needs of the portfolio

 



Qualifications & Experience



 



  • Relevant Leisure Management qualification

  • Must hold a Full UK Driving Licenc

  • Experience of developing and implementing programme strategies that led to business improvement

  • Ability to demonstrate a robust sales approach that has led to business improvement

  • Experience of working well with partners, customers, suppliers and stakeholders

  • Experience of adding value in a commercially orientated environment

  • Operational support experience.

  • Experience Managing Health & Fitness programmes and/or related fitness products

  • Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to interact at various levels of the organisation
