Trampoline Instructor (Casual), Bangor Aurora

Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38 m leisure facility at the site of Valentines Playing Fields, Bangor, County Down.  The development of the centre included a £15 m investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL), administered by Sport Northern Ireland. The centre includes Northern Ireland's first FINA standard 50 metre swimming pool.

What your role will be
Serco Leisure is recruiting for a Casual Trampoline Instructor.  You will assist with the development of the Trampoline Programme at Bangor Aurora through delivery of planned sessions that promote progression through the programme’s pathway. The role will consist of mainly afternoon and evening work and will be on a casual basis.

As a Trampoline Instructor you will plan, prepare and deliver coaching sessions as specified the associated delivery partners that meet the requirements of the respective National Governing Body.  You will maintain accurate records for all sessions and assist in the organisation and promotion of sport and recreational activities. You will comply with and promote equality and health and safety.  You may be asked to undertake other appropriate duties from time to time in accordance with the general nature of the post.

About you
You will have a Level 1 British Gymnastics Trampoline Qualification or equivalent. It would be beneficial to be qualified in: Level 2 British Gymnastics Trampoline Qualification or equivalent; First Aid; and Child Protection however these are not essential as full training will be provided.  You should have excellent communication and customer care skills.
