At the Salt Yard Group our mission is simple – to provide delicious unfussy food in a relaxed environment where the staff excel in friendliness, efficiency and product knowledge.
Training is key to everything we do – FOH we hold weekly training sessions on food, drink and service standards. These sessions include visits from suppliers, off site training and a lot of eating and drinking! They are interactive and fun as well as being informative. BOH have weekly toolbox training and regular off site visits to suppliers.
We nurture and train our staff tirelessly in order for them to excel and develop because staff progression is vital for us – we have Sous Chef’s that started as Kitchen Porters and FOH managers that started as Runners.
