The Bar & Grill seeks a customer focused team leader to join their fantastic family food and beverage team.

The Bar and Grill  is a firm favourite with our Holiday Guests and Holiday Home owners alike, with a variety of offerings for everyone from a bar and restaurant, to family and seasonal entertainment with day time activities and night time entertainment. It offers seasonal events such as the Halloween Spooktacular, Christmas Winter Wonderland and Easter Egg Hunts to name but a few. From dressing up to taking part in some fun filled events, the Bar and Grill is a dynamic department filled with fun and laughter; whilst remaining highly professional and passionate about its fantastic customer service.

The successful candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate team leader or supervisory expertise in a busy bar/ waiting-on environment; a knowledge which is likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the hospitality Industry.

Our ideal Team Leader will be passionate about delivering a consistently excellent level of service and enjoy hosting front of house.

The successful candidates will be required to:

• Work alongside the Duty Managers to take responsibility for the day to day operation of the Bar & Grill in the absence of the Manager where appropriate.
• Assist the Management team with the operational objectives of the business and ensure tight controls on costs are achieved in line with the P & L.
• Ensure that all company H & S and Food Safety objectives and standards are achieved and that any faults are raised directly with the Manager or the H & S advisor.
• Focus on “service” standards throughout the operation, and in conjunction with the Management team; continue to improve the overall professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with all areas of the overall business in order to facilitate high standards across Ribby Hall Village.
• Ensure that the Bar & Grill operates to its maximum potential

Our perfect match will possess the following essential attributes:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role
• Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding customer service
• Resilience and ability to perform under pressure
• Pro-active with excellent follow through on tasks
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Attention to Detail
• Excellent personal presentation
• Knowledge of beverages and fresh food
• Excellent food and liquor control skills

Due to licensing laws applicants must be 18 years of age or above.

Availability:

The position is full time; the normal hours of work are 40 per week. Full flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business
