Food and Beverage Manager - New Opening, Worcester 

The job

A fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, experienced professional to run our fabulous new restaurant. In this hands-on role, you will lead and inspire a newly created team to deliver an outstanding experience to customers and excellent financial results for the company so ensuring success for both yourself, your team and the restaurant itself. Your remit includes: people management including recruitment, training and development; monitoring and maintaining quality and standards; target and objective setting; sales and promo; budgets and P&L; stock management; health and safety, hygiene and licensing; administration and reporting and anything else a Food and Beverage Manager would be expected to do.

The place

We’re opening an exciting new restaurant at Malvern View. It’s a contemporary twist on the classic country pub with exposed beams and tones of character. The park itself is owners only so you can really get to know your customers. Food, service and overall experience has to meet our customer’s 5-star expectations. 

Experience

A minimum of 18 months experience in a restaurant environment at the appropriate level, previous experience of supervising/managing a team, GCSE Maths and English (preferably at A level), knowledge and understanding of UK laws and legislation governing health and safety, licensing and food hygiene, knowledge and experience of budgets, P&Ls and all relevant financial responsibility, adept at using computer applications, liquor license.

Pay

The pay is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience plus bonus potential and all the normal benefits.

Contract

The contract is based on full time hours which will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
