The park

Located in the heart of Lancashire’s stunning Ribble Valley, Ribble Valley Country Holiday Park offers a picturesque location and a tranquil retreat for our holiday home owners to enjoy.

The role

You’ll assist the Sales and Operations Manager in leading a small sales team, driving sales, encouraging enthusiasm and helping to create a positive working environment.

You’ll support the Sales and Operations Manager in ensuring sales targets are met/exceeded. You’ll be proactive, taking note of trends in the market, as well as searching for opportunities to create and increase sales. You’ll also ensure the sales team are actively advertising and promoting upcoming events.

You’ll assist in developing the team, sharing knowledge and technical expertise, leading by example. You’ll review own sales performance against targets/objectives, always striving to exceed sales targets.

You’ll assist the Sales and Operations Manager in preparing for sales events, making them a friendly and welcoming experience for customers with the team being courteous and professional at all times. You’ll endeavour to always exceed customer expectations, promoting the facilities and the five-star experience Park Leisure has to offer.

You’ll know your product, having an in-depth knowledge of all our holiday homes, facilities and the various packages the park offers. You’ll also have a thorough knowledge of our sales process and expectations, ensuring paperwork is accurately completed following company procedures, and will close sales efficiently, supporting the team in closing deals when necessary.

About you

You are professional, friendly and courteous. You’re dynamic, self-motivated, innovative, passionate about sales and enjoy meeting/exceeding targets. You’re focused, dedicated, conscientious and trustworthy. You’re a confident communicator, enjoy learning new skills and developing others and enjoy engaging with customers. You’re commercially aware, with an acute awareness of targets and current sales.

Experience

You’ll have significant previous experience in a direct customer facing sales environment and enjoy working towards sales targets. You will have also previously supervised a team of employees and have experience of developing others. You’ll also be educated to grade C in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent) or above and be adept at using IT applications.

A driving licence is required in order to undertake the role.

Pay

The pay is £30,000 plus commission, with OTE being circa £62,375. Benefits such as pension and holiday are also on offer.

Live-in accommodation may be provided but will be discussed in more detail at interview.

Contract

The contract is based on full time hours, which will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
