The park
Located in the heart of Lancashire’s stunning Ribble Valley, Ribble Valley Country and Leisure Park offers a picturesque location and a tranquil retreat for our holiday home owners to enjoy.
The role
You’ll be leading your own small team being a role model and example. You’ll be proactive, searching for potential opportunities and have plenty of ideas to create and increase sales. You’ll monitor sales against target, ensuring the team are aware of progress, pushing them to achieve and even exceed target.
You’ll know your product, having an in-depth knowledge of all our holiday homes, facilities and the various packages the park offers. You’ll also have a thorough knowledge of our sales process and expectations, ensuring paperwork is accurately completed following company procedures, and will close sales efficiently, supporting the team in closing deals when necessary.
You’ll organise park sales events, making them a friendly and welcoming experience for customers with your team being courteous and professional at all times. You’ll endeavour to always exceed customer expectations, promoting the facilities and the five-star experience Park Leisure has to offer.
You’ll plan in advance for potential busy periods in order to maximum the potential for sales, leading your team in actively advertising and promoting upcoming sales events and their search for leads and arranging appointments with future owners.
You’ll motivate the sales team, encouraging a positive working environment, holding regular sales meetings, keeping the team up to date with progress, sharing ideas and expertise. You’ll make certain the team are expertly trained, spending time developing their knowledge and technical ability so they can meet/exceed targets and proficiently carry out their duties responsibly.
About you
You are dynamic, innovative, focused and passionate about sales, enjoy working towards targets, are commercially aware and have a fundamental understanding of budgets and how to achieve them. You’re professional, polite, friendly, a great leader and an excellent team player, you take a hands on approach and enjoy developing others. Reliable, honest, conscientious, thorough and consistent, you are a confident communicator who enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Experience
You will have previous experience as a Sales Manager, as well as a wealth of previous experience in a customer facing sales environment, where you’ll have continuously met/exceeded set sales targets. You’ll be educated to grade C in both maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent) or above and be adept at using IT applications.
A basic DBS check is required in order to undertake this role.
A driving licence is required for this role.
Pay
The salary is £40,000 plus commission, with OTE being £88,500. Benefits such as pension and holiday are also on offer.
Temporary accommodation may be provided for a period of up to six months, however this will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
Contract
The contract is based on full time hours, which will discussed in more detail at interview stage.
