Old English Inns have over 100 unique pubs and pub / hotels, set in rural locations and steeped in charm and character. With informal table service and beautiful settings, this is perfect for a manager who has come from a branded food operation background with a similar style food service.
The Business
Average weekly turnover: up to £35,000 during summer period
Split Wet/Food: 60/40 Food Led
Accommodation Live In
This beautiful Old English Inn is situated on the Grand Union Canal near Linslade .The Inn is a very popular venue due to its idyllic location and large outside trading area. The business has a welcoming bar area and various seating areas which include comfortable sofas, selection of tables suited to less formal dining or drinking/socialising and high tables.
The low beamed traditional restaurant area offers varied seating options throughout, with Full table service. The seating arrangements are set to meet the needs of our customers whilst creating a suitable ambience for relaxed dining. There is a large car park and an external play area. The Globe is a family Pub/Restaurant appealing to customers of all ages.
We are looking for:
Applications are invited from organized customer focused self-starters who can demonstrate a good track record to date in driving sales in a branded offer. An ability to promote, market and grow the business will be a must as a can do attitude that will energize and grow your teams to deliver great standards of service and customer satisfaction.
A highly experienced GM to drive improvements and growth in a site
Enthusiastic, honest and hard working
Several years’ experience in a branded food-led site
Committed to creating and developing a fantastic team
Customer focused
Constantly looking for ways to grow their business without compromising quality
A good track record in P+L management and ability to convert will also need to be demonstrated.
A hands on manager with excellent communication skills
