Conference and Banqueting Assistant - Oatlands Park Hotel
Department: Food and Beverage
Reporting to: Department Supervisor

Main Purpose of the Job
- The Food and Beverage Assistant is responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all guests in line the hotel vision and values
- To undertake bar and food service duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to guest needs
- To build a good rapport with guests and resolve any complaints or issues in line with company standards
- To be responsible for accurate and efficient processing of table orders and guest billing processes
- To undertake all training as required.(First Aid, Health and Safety, Customer Service
- To serve food and drink in line with company standards (SOP) over breakfast, lunch and dinner sevice.

Qualifications - Desirable
- Hospitality qualification or working towards
Skills/competencies - Desirable
- Working Knowledge of POS Micros or equivalent
- Customer Service trained and guest complaint handling
- Fine dining experience
- Wine and Spirit Service Experience
Knowledge - Essential
- A knowledge of AA four star hotel standards
Experience

- At least one year experience in a customer facing role
