Front Office Receptionist

Main Purpose of the Job

  • The receptionist is responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all guests in line the hotel vision and values
  • To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to guest needs
  • To build a good rapport with guests and resolve any complaints or issues in line with company standards
  • To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes
  • To administer all routes of reservation to ensure room bookings are being made
  • To undertake general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing, and switchboard
  • To efficiently process all reservations and cancellations
  • To log any maintenance issues onto the PMS
  • To undertake all training as required.(First Aid, Health and Safety, Customer Service)

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging situations
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including telephone manner
