What it's like to work here

Nestled in a medieval deer-park, Knole is vast, complex and full of hidden treasures. It is the perfect place to visit for textiles and art enthusiasts, showcasing 17th century tapestries and furniture that make the collection internationally significant. Knole is going through a transformation and preservation project with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund. Last year we opened our new visitor centre, and completed the external repairs, and we look forward to opening a nationally significant conservation studio, a new cafe with wonderful views of the park and a lifelong learning centre in the hayloft.
