We are currently recruiting for full time Grillers to join our Nando’s family. As a griller, you’ll have a passion for preparing great food, take pride in your presentation and in your standards, have the courage to challenge the status quo, the integrity to hold your hands up to mistakes, and treat your colleagues like family. You’ll have excellent communication skills, and work well under pressure.

So what does a Griller at Nando’s do?

Our Grillers are the heart and soul of our restaurant, they work in busy stressful environments and they have fun doing it! You’ll be trained in all areas of food preparation, from fridge to plate, and there is lots of scrubbing and cleaning involved too – at the end of the night we clean everything and reset for the next day, and we give full training in this area too!

You can expect to have a contract for 35-40 hours a week, starting rate of pay is £8.20 per hour and after you’ve completed training your pay will be reviewed along side your performance. You’ll work 5 shifts over 7 days with 2 days off a week, and your shift will be a mixture of day shifts and night shifts, but mainly night shift. Earliest start time is 11pm and the evening shift finishes around 12.30am – so flexibility is a must! You must be available for evenings and weekends, and we aim to rotate weekends off.
