Sales Director Commercial Leisure 60K + package - Guildford

I have a fantastic opportunity for a sales and marketing director to join a start-up operator in the commercial leisure sector. With an exciting roll out strategy my client is looking to bring in a candidate with proven credentials to oversee and implement group wide sales and marketing initiatives, working at a fast pace and extensive autonomy as a key member of the senior management team.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a brand strategy and create an identity as an operator of choice with an unrivalled offer to consumers
  • To pre-sale and launch multiple new openings within agreed budgets.
  • Responsible for the group's BTB and BTC marketing, promotion and outreach campaigns as well as participating in select trade shows
  • Responsible for online search and display marketing, outdoor media, direct promotions and organic media relations
  • Ensuring for analysing ROI for all platforms, tactics and mechanics including lifetime order value, average order value, social engagement ratio, brand engagement and competitor audits.
  • Responsible for the sales plan and individual KPIs to ensure the business plans are achieved
  • Ensuring that the huge amount of customer data is effectively collected and managed to enable the very best customer retention and loyalty campaigns can be delivered based on customer insight.

We are keen to talk to candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record as a sales and marketing director who is strong across both disciplines. You will have a strong digital focus and have a creative and innovative approach to what is a new and exciting product offering multiple opportunities for innovation and new initiatives with experience within the leisure or broad hospitality sectors being strongly desirable. Educated to degree level you will need outstanding leadership and exquisite communication and interpersonal skills underpinned by very strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will also thrive in a start-up culture which will be very much hands on and working with the individual businesses supporting their sales and marketing initiatives.

The business is working at a very fast pace so the role will involve significant travel and the need to work long hours including some weekends. The ideal candidate can be based in the South East or the Midlands and will be able to work from any of the individual businesses. The successful candidate will be offered a highly competitive basic salary with bonuses.
