I am working with one of the largest and most successful private health clubs in the country and they now have an opening immediately available for a membership sales consultant to join their membership sales team.



To get offered the job of membership consultant you'll have to be passionate about health and fitness and sport in general, and someone who'll thrive working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. We need someone that is pro-active and who will put in the hours and the work needed to hit your monthly sales targets. You will need to be great on the phone and have a natural ability to build rapport and personalise the benefits of joining for each and every prospective member. You'll be explaining all about the different fitness equipment and innovations, the huge range of fitness classes, market leading family activities and racquets facilities that can help each achieve their goals.



You will benefit from plenty of people who will walk in and enquire and there are always high levels of referrals from existing members so this is not a cold calling sales job but you are targeted on meeting daily key performance indicators around call volumes, setting appointment, conducting sales tours, selling memberships and gaining referrals. We're not looking for previous experience as extensive training will be provided so we're very open to talking to candidates from any background but you'll ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a role that demands a proactive and confident approach, great customer service and listening skills , good IT skills, teamwork and a real drive to meet and exceed targets. You will `need to bright and articulate, be organised and adaptable and relish the opportunity to meet and interact with both new prospects and members every day. As this club is at the top end of the market, we need really consultants who live and breathe a healthy lifestyle and who reflect our clients premium product and service offering.
