The Job
Reporting to and deputising for the General Manager as Assistant Manager you will be accountable for the efficient day to day management of all operational departments at the club with an emphasis upon achieving consistently high standards of product and service through a motivated and dedicated team. Financially accountable, as Assistant Manager you will play a key role in the planning and control of costs in line with budget in addition to supporting and encouraging a sales and service culture throughout the operational team.
A particular focus of the role is within the Food and Beverage areas of the club including overseeing event delivery as well as developing and delivering a program of social events in the club house.

The Person
Successful applicants for the position of Assistant Manager will have an all-round knowledge of all hospitality departments together with senior level experience of food and beverage departments. The applicant must also have an interest in Golf.
Excellent communication skills & team management ability will be key for a successful applicant together with a commitment and passion for training and development to achieve consistently high service standards. You will also have excellent people skills, an eye for detail and a passion for creating a relaxed, top quality environment.
