Fitness Manager: The role
As the FSM you will be our fitness professional and a vital member of the management team. You will be the person that demonstrates a strong passion for service along with a strong desire to engage with our members to help them achieve their goals. As an active and visible member of team you will be an excellent communicator who provides support to PTs and Studio Instructors to ensure we are delivering an exceptional fitness experience on the gym floor as well as in our studios and on poolside.

Why am I here?
1.     To support team development by delivering fitness and product knowledge training 
2.     To be a mentor to new PTs and Studio Instructors to support them in their pursuit to be successful fitness professionals.
3.     To be visible & actively involved on the gym floor and studio program at peak times whilst providing cover where possible, & personally teach a minimum of 3 group fitness classes per week.
4.     To co-ordinate the studio timetable with the DCM Ops to maximise occupancy and achieve high member satisfaction whilst remaining within budget.
5.     To showcase your club and team to potential members both in club and at outreach events.
6.     To personally contribute towards the club add spend target by upselling products to members at every opportunity and be an ambassador of the chosen product range LA fitness stock.
7.     To have active involvement in and knowledge of other departments and duties for you to be the Duty Manager on average 2 shifts per week.
8.     To continually improve your knowledge by keeping up to date with industry trends and seek further training and guidance from the National Fitness team.
9.     To be an active member of the team that uses the facilities and develops product knowledge to be able to answer member queries where possible.
10.  To work as part of the team to ensure all areas are routinely kept, clean, tidy, well maintained and company Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

What do I need?
A passion bordering on obsession for fitness and educating others.
NVQ2 Fitness Instructor or equivalent Including REPs accreditation.
Qualified in EFA, Defib, ER & Pool Ops or willing/able to become qualified within 3 months.
Experience in the industry and in leading the Fitness product delivery with a team.
Passion for brand standards, service and cleanliness.
Ability to work shift patterns including Gym Floor cover at peak times Monday to Friday.
Be willing and able to attend all company training as required.
