LA fitness  is one of the UK’s leading Health and Fitness chains with 43 clubs in the group, including 12 in Central London and of these 12, 3 are our premium LAX brand. At LA fitness you will find the latest fitness techniques and thinking, combined with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. LA fitness centres its approach to fitness around a passion to inform and educate its members on the finer points of exercise and nutrition.

The role
As part of the reception team you play a crucial role and will understand that you are our customers’ first point of contact in person or by telephone so your ability to positively engage with them is vital. As an integral member of the team you will multi‐task, plan ahead and communicate well at all times to show that you understand the importance of your role along with the concept that reception is the hub that consistently supports a clean, friendly, safe and commercially successful Health club.

1.    To provide a warm welcome and sincere goodbye to all members and visitors.
2.    To promote class attendance and seek assistance for members needing advice.
3.    To ensure that nobody gains access to the club without valid membership card, guest pass, guest fee or contractor I.D.
4.    To ensure member feedback or requests to cancel are passed to the Duty Manager.
5.    To support the Sales Crew to correctly capture prospect data and provide a great first impression.
6.    To ensure guest fees are collected and our products and services are promoted to our members.
7.    To manage cash honestly, appropriately and inline with company policy
8.    To be an active member of the team that uses the facilities and develops product knowledge to be able to answer member queries where possible.
9.    To work as part of the team to ensure all areas are routinely kept, clean, tidy, well maintained and company Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

  • To be obsessed with delivering the best customer service and standards.
  • Be willing and able to attend all company training as required.
