Senior​ Activity Instructor - Accommodation provided - Condover Hall, Shrewsbury

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Activity Instructor you will report directly to the Centre Activity Manager, you will be responsible for supporting them & the activity team in the day to day running of the centre.

You will oversee  the safety, welfare of staff, customers & the efficient delivery of activities.  The Senior Instructor will be required to manage our activity programme & lead a team of multi trained  instructors. Ensuring that the team are motivated, and adhere to company standards. You will promote excellent customer service and assist in ensuring our guests are happy.

You will also ensure the activity areas are set out as per the JCA guidelines, and observe activities that are being delivered by the instructors this includes ensuring  all parts of the site adhere to BAPA, LOtC, Adventuremark, BCU & AALS standards & procedures,.

We are looking for individuals who are able to set a great example to not only our  more junior instructors, but also our guests.

You must be responsible and confident in leading sessions and also be able to deal with any queries from our guests in a timely manner.

A large percentage of our guests are school groups, so we need someone who enjoys working with children.

This role is a residential position and therefore you will need to be comfortable with living away from home, we encourage a friendly, social atmosphere in our centres – a lot of our staff who have worked for us have made life long friends!
