Senior Watersports Instructor - Accommodation provided - Condover Hall, Shrewsbury

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Watersports Instructor you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Manager in the day to day running of the centre and in the delivery of the Watersports/ Activity sessions.

You will oversee our activity programme and lead a team of multi skilled instructors. Maintaining team motivation and assisting in training staff will be a key part of your role.  You will also ensure the activity areas are set out as per the JCA guidelines, and observe activities that are being delivered by the instructors this includes ensuring  all parts of the site adhere to BAPA, LOtC, Adventuremark, BCU & AALS standards & procedures.

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a real passion for working with children and setting a great example.  As a minimum you must have UKCC Level 2.  You must be confident in leading great sessions for our groups, but also be comfortable with supporting members of staff and really getting the best out of them.  Excellent communication skills and customer service is a must! This role is a residential position and therefore you will need to be comfortable with living away from home, we encourage a friendly, social atmosphere in our centers – a lot of our staff who have worked for us have made life long friends!
