The Bull and the Hide

The Bull in the city of London’s Devonshire Row is something of an institution, with literary reference of it going back to the eighteenth century. The pub on the ground floor exists today as it always has; a reliable and friendly refuge for city workers and visitors…though our famous sausage rolls and introduction of Hush Heath Estate wines and ciders have made our customers happier than ever!

In 2015, the upstairs space at The Bull underwent extensive renovation and emerged with a comfortable second floor restaurant, The Hide, serving up innovative dishes using local ingredients. We also introduced seven boutique rooms and suites to a very high standard of luxury and comfort. The Hide and it’s rooms have been an anticipated and welcome addition to The City and have been particularly popular for entertaining local corporations and as a cosy, high end alternative to the classic hotel atmosphere for out of town guests.
