About the role

As a General Manager with us you’ll provide outstanding leadership, coaching and support for your team, be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and committed to creating a fun and safe environment for customers and the team.  Coupled with a passion for retail standards, you will no doubt possess an edge for sales and marketing, driving the optimum financial and commercial performance of your business, in the fast paced and ever changing leisure sector. 

You will be responsible for the following four key areas:.

Customer Service

  • Possessing an unrelenting determination in delivering consistent customer service, you will lead, motivate and inspire your team to deliver service that exceeds expectations within the industry, driving frequency of visit
  • Developing proactive solutions to reduce complaint levels, refunds and poor service, in order to create loyal fans of our business

Leadership and Development

  • Being a people focussed person, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, developing and motivating your team, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to help drive business performance.  Through your keen eye for talent, you will only recruit the most energetic and engaging team members to help deliver your vision
  • Support and coach your team, ensuring that they have monthly performance reviews and behavioural goals to work towards

Financial and Commercial

  • Possessing sharp financial insight, you will manage a successful P&L,  driving the outperformance of your centre on a consistent basis
  • Seek to understand the wider business opportunities, shaping the needs of your diverse customer base to deliver the optimum commercial outcomes, driving new footfall, spend and frequency of visit

Operations

  • You’ll be full of fresh ideas and develop business plans for your centre
  • You’ll work against your own personal, agreed objectives and also to the company’s set KPI’s
  • Ensuring maximum return on investment you’ll monitor and measure the effectiveness of all expenditure
