About the role

Reporting to the Product Director, you will drive the regional growth ambitions through our Regional Support Managers and Centre teams, delivering  market-leading food and drink sales growth, coupled with excellent service standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • In-depth analysis of food & drink sales, including service performance, addressing opportunities and challenges as they arise, and to understand the reasons driving performance outcomes.
  • Using your existing food & drink operational expertise, you will be responsible for:
    • The consistent delivery of excellent product quality to our customers
    • Drive consistent speed of service in a fast-paced operation, with fluctuating resource.
    • Awareness of food & drink, by developing team member passion and knowledge to entice customers to elect to eat with us.
    • Delivering excellent stock results, exceeding budgeted GP%.
    • Generating positive energy in our business and creating fans of food & drink amongst our centre team members. 
  • You will be able to balance and manage priorities, including maximising our returns through an exciting investment programme, along with centres experiencing adverse revenue trends in need of support.  
  • You will be pivotal in gaining 100% engagement of the centre teams with each Company led sales initiatives, including their individual Sales superiority planners. 
  • Assist newly appointed and experienced Managers in implementing training and development plans, in line with the overall Company strategy, along with the needs as set out by the Regional Support Managers. 
  • Working closely with our food & drink partners, you’ll take ownership for our bar & diner training academies. 
  • Ensuring we’re legally compliant as a business is critical. You’ll take ownership for our food & drink audit processes ensuring its relevance and legal compliance. 
  • Working with other departments including the marketing and audit teams as well as external stakeholders, you’ll have a close eye for detail to support the launch of company food & drink initiatives. 
  • You will work closely with the Product Director, supporting and leading other key projects as required. 
  • You’ll attend regional meetings and centre team meetings as necessary.

To be considered for this role you’ll need to have already worked in a food and drink operational role, have a high level of commercial awareness and have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.  Experience of working with Microsoft packages will be essential too.  You must be able to drive and own your own car.
