General Manager - Hollywood Bowl, Surrey Quays

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to manage one of our flagship sites.  

Located on the popular Surrey Quays leisure park, this 28 lane centre hosts our unique Hollywood Diner concept making it not only a place to bowl, but a place for our customers to dine and relax in.

With a team of 40 team members and 4 managers your leadership and organisational skills will need to be second to none!  Together with your team you’ll be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to every customer that walks through our doors, creating lasting memories for them.  Our customer base is predominately families but there is also a large student and corporate population too.

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the centre and the team. You’ll be a great role model for your team and you’ll promote a fun working environment.  This centre is always busy and the role is very varied and hands-on. You’ll also need to deliver on financial targets and ensure everything is running smoothly at all times.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in managing a busy leisure or hospitality operation
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
  • Excellent financial knowledge (managing P&L’s and budget forecasting)
  • A proven track record of building sales
  • Hold a full clean driver’s licence
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team
  • Sociable with an outgoing personality
  • Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach
  • Willing to work late nights and weekends
  • Ambition for success!
