As a Sous Chef your key requirements are:

~ Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence

~ To assist with stocktakes and ordering processes

~ To control and minimise wage costs suitable to the operation.

~  To be familiar with all kitchen equipment, including knife usage and safety

~  Ensure working areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition with health & hygiene / health & safety and company procedures / policies all adhered to & to have full understanding and knowledge of the HACCPs and advise of faults in processes.

The ideal candidate will:

~Have a strong focus on customer service & teamwork

~Have attained a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and practical skills in relation to food production and service within a commercial enterprise

~Be flexible with regards to shift times and willing and able to work night shifts and weekends

~Possess strong communication skills

~Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have proof of right to work in the UK
