We have an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Physiotherapist to lead our Escape Pain Programme, in partnership with the City of London. The ESCAPE pain scheme is a six week self coping programme for patients with musculoskeletal problems that involves both a group discussion and circuit workouts. As the Escape Pain Coach you will maintain a clinical (musculoskeletal) caseload and provide high quality patient care through the use of evidence based treatment techniques

We are looking for the best Escape Pain Coach/Physiotherapist to make things happen for our customers in the City of London. The role is part time working 4 hours per week, over 2 evenings, on a 12 month fixed term contract, paying £20.00 per hour.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working with a diverse and dynamic team within a fast paced environment.

The company

We work in collaboration with our partners in your community to provide recreational sport, health and fitness activities. A registered charity, we formed in April 2000 with a handful of facilities in Southwark. Since then we have consistently made a surplus (profit) each year which means we have been able to put that back into improving our facilities. We now have nearly 80 facilities nationwide including swimming pools and health and fitness centres and even an ice rink, an outdoor sports centre and indoor bowls centres.

The role

You will be responsible for:

* formulating and delivering evidence based individual physiotherapy treatment programmes and group discussions to a diverse patient case load on a rolling 6 week period.
* providing options and realistic goals that take individual customers' needs and abilities into account
* ensuring the efficient and effective operation of sessions, including equipment set up and take down
* communicating highly sensitive, complex information and being responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with Data protection acts.
* undertaking all administrative tasks associated with the position
* taking responsibility for managing clinical risk within own patient caseload.
* completing professional reports for funders and partners to highlight the success of the programme.
* adhering to the Equality and Diversity Policy, Health and Safety procedures, operating procedures, customer service standards and uniform policy at all times
* maintaining own mandatory qualifications, licensing and CPD/ training requirements

The candidate

The experience and background you will need is:

* BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree or REPS Level 3 Exercise on Referral Qualification
* Registrant of the Health Professions Council and Chartered society of Physiotherapy or REPS level 3 and registered
* Experience of working in a comparable role
