We are looking for the best Fitness Instructor to make things happen for our customers at Weald Sports Centre in Cranbrook, Kent. The role is full time, working 38.5 hours per week paying £6.66 per hour.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working with a diverse and dynamic team within a fast paced environment.

The company

We work in collaboration with our partners in your community to provide recreational sport, health and fitness activities. A registered charity, we formed in April 2000 with a handful of facilities in Southwark. Since then we have consistently made a surplus (profit) each year which means we have been able to put that back into improving our facilities. We now have nearly 80 facilities nationwide including swimming pools and health and fitness centres and even an ice rink, an outdoor sports centre and indoor bowls centres.

The role

You will be responsible for:

* supervising activities in the Fitness Room and operating the equipment in a manner consistent with safe working practice, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility
* undertaking all day to day cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and fittings, to the highest possible standards, bringing to the attention of the Centre Management any faults or major repairs
* supporting and assisting in sales and retention processes
* maintaining customer records of programme of activities and lifestyle programmes
* actively engaging with members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging maximum usage
* assisting in the effective operations of the activity programme by coaching and teaching, where appropriate.
* devising and delivering fitness assessments, programmes and testing, exercise prescription, GP referrals and specialist inductions, as and when required (following appropriate training)
* delivering group exercise activities, as required

The candidate

The experience and background you will need is:

* REPS Level 2 qualified and registered
* Experience of delivering first class customer service to a diverse client base
