Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard

Chirk Leisure and Activity Centre  

Hours: 37hrs per week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis)

Salary: £14,338 - £16,572

Freedom leisure are looking a Recreation Assistant, to join our friendly and professional team at Chirk Leisure and Activity Centre.

Your duties will include:

  • Making sure the Pool users are safe at all times
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the centre
  • Dealing with customer queries, comments and complaints
  • Set up and take down equipment
  • Provide support to other activities that take place during the day
  • Ensuring the highest level of Customer Service at all times

You will need to be a strong swimmer to pass a pool competency test and you must have an NPLQ. It is essential that you have excellent Customer Service skills, ideally gained within a leisure or poolside environment.
