Cafe Assistant – Arun Leisure Centre

Hours: 37 hours a week (Monday – Friday)

Rate of pay: £11,190.74 - £13,890.10

Freedom Leisure are looking for a Cafe Assistant to join our friendly and professional Cafe team.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a team of cafe staff who provide an efficient catering service, prepare food as required, provide excellent customer service at all times and maintain a hygienic catering area at Arun Leisure Centre.

You will be responsible for:

• preparing basic food and drinks
• operating the coffee making machine following training
• serving food and drinks
• providing excellent customer service
• ensuring a hygienic, clean and tidy café at all times

What are we looking for?

You will ideally have a catering qualification such as NVQ2 or GCSE’s at C/D grade and ideally a Basic Food Hygiene certificate. Experience of dealing with customers in a face to face environment will be of benefit, however full training will be given. Most importantly you will have high standards of work and be able to work with minimum supervision.
