Rate of pay: £13.63

Freedom Leisure, the largest provider of community leisure in the South of England is now the leisure partner with Powys County Council to provide leisure services across Powys.  We have an exciting new job opportunity for Studio Instructors. 

What will you be doing?

We are looking for experienced Exercise Instructors to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching exercise classes/sports activities to customers
• Promote and raise the Group Exercise Programme to attract new members and increase participation
• Ensure the highest standards of communication and customer care
• Monitor class attendance for future timetable changes and development
• Produce lesson plans as required

We work shifts that may include weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

What are we looking for?

It is essential you hold a professional related fitness qualification and are able to provide excellent customer service.  You will ideally have previous experience in a community leisure environment.  A First Aid certificate will be an advantage however training can be provided.

Excellent customer service skills including a commitment to customer care and the ability to deal with customers in a sensitive manner.  You will be able to work well in a team. 

GCSE’s in English and Maths will also be an advantage to you.
