Hours: Casual

Rate of Pay: £7.14 - £7.20 per hour

We are looking for 2 casual Catering Assistants to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure Catering Team.

East Grinstead Sports Club provides a function service for Weddings and other Events.  Depending on experience you will be responsible for producing various meals from finger buffets to sit down meals.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing and cooking food for specific events
• Ensuring supporting staff are fully briefed for the task
• Ensuring food preparation, catering and serving areas are clean and hygienic
• Operating catering equipment effectively and safely
• Provide excellent customer service

You will need to hold a basic food hygiene certificate and ideally have an NVQ in Catering or equivalent experience.  Most importantly you will work to high standards and be able to work with minimum supervision.
