Hours: 37 per week on rota

Rate of pay: £18086.07 - £19107.31 per annum

We are looking for a two full time Senior Recreation Assistants to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team. You will supervise and assist the leisure centre members, acting as a role model for junior members of the team, and be responsible for:

• Making sure the Centre and Pool users are safe at all times
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the centre
• Setting up and taking down of equipment for classes and events ensuring staff are working safely
• Ensure customer queries, comments and complaints are dealt with effectively, supporting other members of staff with issues they are unable to deal with alone

You will need to have GCSE’s in English and Maths and an NPLQ.  You will ideally have a First Aid certificate or defibrillation.  It is essential that you have excellent customer service skills, ideally gained within a Leisure or Poolside environment.  Most importantly you will have high standards of work and be able to work with minimum supervision.
