Recreation Assistant Pool

Hours: 37 hours per week

Rate of pay: £15069.12 per annum

We are looking for 2 full time Recreation Assistants to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team. You will supervise and assist the leisure centre members including the Pool area and be responsible for:

• Making sure the Pool users are safe at all times
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the centre
• Setting up and taking down of equipment for classes and events
• Dealing with customer queries, comments and complaints
• Ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times

You will need to have GCSE’s in English and Maths, an NPLQ qualification, and ideally an NVQ Level 2 in Operational Services. You will also need a First Aid certificate although training can be provided.  It is essential that you have excellent Customer Service skills, gained within a Leisure or Pools environment.  Most importantly you will have high standards of work and experience at a supervisory level.
