Head Chef, Three Hills Sports Park, Folkestone

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Rate of pay: up to £19,676.40 pro rata

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure Catering Team. Three Hills Sports Club in Cheriton provides a function service for Weddings and other Events.  Depending on experience you will be responsible for producing various meals from finger buffets to sit down meals, your duties will include:

  • Preparing and cooking food for specific events
  • Ensuring supporting staff are fully briefed for the task
  • Ensuring food preparation, catering and serving areas are clean and hygienic
  • Operating catering equipment effectively and safely
  • Provide excellent customer service

You will need to hold a basic food hygiene certificate and ideally have an NVQ in Catering or equivalent experience.  Most importantly you will work to high standards and be able to work with minimum supervision.
