Apprentice Pool Recreation Assistant

Woking Pool in the Park

Hours: 37 hours per week rota incl.eve & weekends

Rate of pay: £121.52 weekly starting rate – rising with each qualification gained

We are looking for a full-time Leisure Assistant Apprentices to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team.  You will be trained in:

• Making sure the swimming pool users are safe at all times
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the centre
• Setting up and taking down of equipment for classes and events
• Dealing with customer queries, comments and complaints
• Ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times

Qualifications gained will be:

• Level 2 NVQ Leisure Operations
• Level 2 Certificate in Leisure Operations
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• Level 2 Swimming Teachers Qualification
• 1 day Pool Plant Operators Qualification

You will need to have the ability to swim 50 metres within 1 minute and be looking for a career in leisure. You will have high standards of work and be able to work with minimum supervision.  The apprenticeship will last 12 months, after which we envisage there will be a full-time position available. After each qualification is gained you will get a pay increase.
