Woking Leisure Centre

Hours: various hours available on a casual zero hours contract

Rate of Pay: £5.13 - £6.50 per hour depending on age & experience

We are looking for experienced (or willing to learn) Receptionists or Cashiers to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team.  Your main responsibilities will include:

• taking bookings and processing memberships using a computerised booking system, accepting cash and card payments 
• Till operation, cashing up as and when required ensuring control and security of takings under the supervision of senior members of staff
• to prepare, sell and serve drinks and food, to operate the Cafe in accordance with Food Hygiene standards
• advising customers, to actively promote the facilities, services and products available throughout Freedom Leisure
• to greet, help and serve customers in a friendly & enthusiastic manner, provide an excellent level of customer service at all times
• dealing with any customer contact/complaint/comment professionally and courteously referring issues to the appropriate staff member
• ensuring the Customer Services area is clean and tidy, cleaning and clearing tables, chairs, emptying bins etc

You will have a GCSE in Maths (or equivalent) and ideally an NVQ in Customer Services. You will also have previously dealt with the public.
