Community Sports Coach

K2 Crawley

Hours: 5 hours per week (Monday to Friday in term-time)

Rate of pay: £11.06 - £15.66 per hour

We are looking for 2 part time Community Sports Coaches to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team. You will work closely with the Scheme Coordinator to implement the Community Sports and Activity Scheme:

• Assist in delivering a wide range of activities that help with increasing participation levels within the Borough.
• To undertake general administrative tasks in line with activities organised as part of the scheme where required
• To assist the Community and Sports Activities Coordinator with collection of monitoring and evaluation forms
• Assist in increasing participation in sport for all sections of the community within the Borough of Crawley, primarily through after school sports activities at K2 Crawley, Broadfield 3G and other community and school venues
• Ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction at all times

You will need to have GCSE’s in English and Maths, It is essential that you have gained Coaching – level 1 in at least 2 recognized NGB sports and are willing to acquire more, you must have at least 1 years experience of planning and delivery of sports activity programmes in a community/school environment, you will have high standards of work and be able to work with minimum supervision.
