Pools Duty Manager

Pool in the Park, Woking

Hours: 37 hrs per week Monday - Sunday

Salary: £22,362.01 per annum

We are looking for a full time Pools Duty Manager to join our friendly and professional freedom leisure team. You will supervise and assist the team to ensure the highest standards of service for the Pools department.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the Pool Manager in delivering all key aspects of the Pool facility operations, both strategic and operational
• Ensure the effective and safe operation of the Pool facility on a daily basis
• Act as key holder and occasional call out cover as and when required
• Oversee the recruitment and development of staff at all levels within the pools team
• Assist with day to day staff management including training programs and dealing with staff performance issues as required

You will need to have GCSE’s in English and Maths, an NPLQ qualification, and ideally a Pool Plant Operators Qualification. You will also need a First Aid certificate although training can be provided.  It is essential that you have excellent Customer Service skills, gained within a Leisure or Pools environment.  Most importantly you will have high standards of work and experience at a supervisory level.
