Fitness Manager, K2 Crawley, salary circa 22-27k
K2 Crawley are currently looking for an exceptional Fitness Manager to join their friendly and professional team; this exciting opportunity is a full time vacancy and requires considerable experience in the fitness industry. K2 Crawley is this year seeing significant investment within the gym so having experience in leading on fitness related projects would be ideal. The leisure centre boasts an impressive 100 station Gym, 2 Studio Rooms, a dedicated Spinning Studio and 100+ classes on its group exercise timetable.
What will you be doing?
As the Fitness Manager of this impressive facility we will be looking for you to maximise the sales and income generation of the fitness activities of the centre, ensuring the continued growth of memberships and retention of current members. You will form part of the Centre Management Team and be expected to manage, develop and motivate a team of Fitness Instructors to ensure the effective day to day running and management of the fitness department. You will also:
- Provide monthly sales and cancellation figures, taking overall responsibility for the performance of the Fitness Department
- Manage the upcoming investment project, making business based decisions
- Ensure all our customers receive an excellent experience of customer service and fitness advice from our staff
- Supervise and manage staff on a day to day basis
- Work with the central marketing team to implement marketing initiatives
What are we looking for?
You will need considerable experience in the fitness industry and strong people management skills. You will also need experience of managing and working towards key sales targets; delivering an excellent level of customer service and a high awareness of industry trends and developments.
In addition you will need to have a First Aid qualification (or be willing to attend training) and will ideally have a higher level qualification in fitness or leisure.
