The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy Back of House team When you join us:

  • You will be working within Back of House team which is based within our Kitchen team
  • You will be operating the dishwasher and manning the pot wash
  • You will be responsible for general cleaning and all back of house areas
  • You will be maintaining the cleanliness of the Staff Canteen and serving of staff food
  • You will need to adhere to COSHH and food hygiene regulations - training will be given.
  • You will be a working 35 hours per week, five days out of seven including weekends, evenings and bank holidays with some split shifts, so flexibility is key.

What we need from you:

  • Good verbal and written English
  • High standard of personal hygiene
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively to given daily deadlines
  • Physically fit as some lifting is required
  • Previous experience as a kitchen porter desired but not essential as full training will be given.
