Position Overview: Tylney Hall is a beautiful 4 red star hotel with a 5 star reputation! We need a confident hard working Food and Beverage Supervisor to help to lead our busy Lounge, Bars and Room Service Department. The service offered from this department includes the main cocktail bar, light food and drinks around the beautiful outdoor pool, room service meals and of course our delectable afternoon teas to name just a few! The Food and Beverage Supervisor Role is 100% operational and 'hands on' in style! Food and Beverage Supervisors in our hotel need to assist the Management Team in delivering the Hospitality and Service offered to every single guest by themselves and by their team. A Food and Beverage Supervisor at Tylney Hall may be required to 'step up' and run the department in the Managers absence. Our Food and Beverage Supervisors need to communicate and plan effectively within the department and with all other departments on a two way basis ensuring that the service is seamless in the guests' eyes. Of course, we expect all of our Food and Beverage Supervisors to support the Management Team in implementing our legal responsibilities relating to; food hygiene, health and safety and fire regulations just to mention a few......and lastly, we encourage all of our employees to grow, be involved in the business, develop as an individual, and achieve their full potential. The position is contracted to 35 hours per week, with additional up to 40 often available, dependent on business needs.
Attributes/Experience We need a person who is happy to work a flexible rota - this area of the hotel is open every day of the week for long hours. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be a natural 'Host' with a welcoming attitude. A high command of English is crucial. Excellent customer service skills are needed as well as being extremely well presented. Experience in hotel 'Food and Beverage' work and having experience leading a small team is highly desirable. Own transport is required due to our rural location however live in will be considered for the right applicant.
