Food & Beverage University Work Placement - Eastbourne

A fabulous opportunity to gain valuable work experience in England's only five star hotel by the sea.

About the placement...

Working as part of the team at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne, you will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of food and beverage service areas. You will have a bespoke training plan that will include Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, Lounge, Conference and Banqueting departments. Whilst this is predominantly a food and beverage placement, we would be happy to incorporate other areas depending on your areas of interest. As the placement progresses, you may be able to take on more supervisory responsibilities. This is a full time, paid position working five days over seven, which will include weekends and evenings. Staff accommodation can be provided if necessary.

Please note this placement opportunity is for someone currently studying a degree in hospitality or tourism management and who needs to complete a placement as part of their degree.

We are happy to be flexible on start dates throughout the year, however ask for a commitment of between 9-12 months. As part of your placement you will also be allocated a mentor and have regular reviews on your progress. There will also be opportunities to progress within the Company once you finish your degree, including entry on to our Management Training program or other full time employment.
