Tylney Hall, Hook, Hampshire now has an opportunity available for a Night Porter - Variable Hours.

Tylney Hall is a beautiful 4 red star hotel in stunning gardens set in rural Hampshire. It has recently received the 'best kept secret' award by Facebook fans in the Laterooms.com Hotel of the Year competition - this was because of its charm, warmth and glorious parkland surroundings

Position Overview:

Our Night Porters ensure that guests receive the warmest welcome and that they feel safe and looked after from arrival to departure whilst experiencing traditional hospitality in the Four Red Star environment of a country house. Our Night Porters ensure guests arriving and leaving the building are greeted and helped in a pro-active professional and courteous way - nothing is too much trouble and we are always happy to 'go the extra mile' at Tylney! It is the Night Porter's responsibility to undertake portering duties, cleaning jobs, security checks and many other tasks during the night shift to ensure that all of our guests have a seamless and fantastic experience when they stay with us.

Attributes & Experience;

You will need a good command of English, previous experience in a customer service role is desirable as is having the ability to give directions and advice on locations. You will be familiar with working during the night and be happy to complete internal and external security walks alone. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be 'standards' driven. You will be extremely well presented. You must be aware that the hours involved will be throughout the night (10.45pm - 7.15am) including week ends and bank holidays. Please note: This position is not a contracted role, and you would not be guaranteed any regular hours, however we would call on you to cover staff sickness and when demand is going to be higher than normal - You then choose which shifts to accept.
