Tylney Hall Hotel, Hook, Hampshire
Has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Accounts Assistant

Tylney Hall is a beautiful 4 red star hotel in stunning gardens set in rural Hampshire, with charm, warmth and glorious parkland surroundings. This beautiful hotel with a 5 star reputation needs a confident hard working Senior Accounts Assistant to perform a key role within our busy Accounts Office. Working closely with the Accounts Office Manager they will perform several key functions including managing credit control and assisting with running the monthly payroll (in two parts) for around 150 employees. A good eye for detail and strong accounting skills will help the successful individual complete the variety of other duties they will be expected to perform day to day. The successful applicant must have recent relevant experience within an accounts team, and be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, as they will be required to manage the team during the Accounts Office Managers absence. They will be delivering a support function in relation to the Hospitality and Service offered to every single guest by the whole team within the hotel. We all believe in 4/5* hospitality - it's in our personalities! Our Accounts team are commercially aware and are able to help influence the 'bottom line' figures. They also communicate and plan effectively with all departments on a two way basis ensuring that the service is seamless in the guests' eyes. Of course, we expect our accounts team to have an understanding of our legal responsibilities relating to general accounting practice.
