Conference & Events Operation Manager – Dunkeld House Hotel, Perth and Kinross

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for full time Conference & Events Manager at our 4 star Hotel in Dunkeld.  You will liaise closely with the Operations Manager and Sales Team to manage a strong and efficient conference and events team.  You will run conference and events as per function sheets, including the supervision and monitoring of the service and production of all food and drink in your department, oversee the set up and break down of function rooms before and after events. You will meet and greet clients and attend pre-events meeting for functions regarding final details, evaluate and monitor standards within the team and make improvements where necessary, to control your department’s payroll efficiently, monitor stock levels of equipment ensuring all areas have the necessary resources, attend weekly operations meeting, ensure the department maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and completion of Duty Management shifts as required.   

You will work 5 shifts per week with varying hours depending upon business demands. This is a very hands on, operational role leading the team from the front and reporting to the Operations Manager.

Previous experience of working in a similar role would be preferred but we would consider a fantastic Assistant C&E Manager or Supervisor looking for their first head of department role.
