Bellanger

Bellanger is a relaxed, all-day, traditional French restaurant on Islington Green which opened in December 2015. Open seven days a week, from 8am until late, weather for a simple cup of coffee with cake to a “grand repas”. The menu displays a distinct nod to the Alsatian roots of the Parisian brasseries, featuring typical dishes such as choucroute, baeckoff and a range of tartes flambées, soups, salads, seafood, plat du jour, and a number of sharing dishes. The 220 cover restaurant and bar is particularly popular for brunch starting with a typical breakfast  viennoiserie, waffles and egg dishes, and moving onto salads, sharing pots and escalopes, Bellanger’s brunch is enjoyable late into the afternoon on weekends and bank holidays.
