ABOUT US
Our Retail Department play a key role in ensuring our guests stay is as enjoyable as possible and to assist us in that aim, we now seek motivated individuals to join our team. Our retail outlets include the Parc Market, which stocks over 2,500 lines and is where guests buy their daily groceries; Refresh, where snacks and drinks can be bought; Treats, for those with a sweet tooth and our Nature Centre Shop, which caters for gifts and wildlife products.
ABOUT THE BENEFITS
We are looking for Retail Assistants with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our team. Based in Parc Market, our Village supermarket, your duties will involve all aspects of retail from serving customers on the checkouts and handling payments to replenishing stock ensuring that all goods are attractively displayed.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a guest facing role, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You will be confident taking ownership of guest queries or issues, ensuring that they are served in a friendly and efficient manner.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 90 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period.
The retail team operates between the hours of 6am and 9.30pm. The shifts for this contract will include a 7.5 hour shift each weekend plus 2 other 7.5 hour shifts per week, which can be fixed.

ABOUT YOU

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role
- Basic Food Hygiene Qualification
- Current Clean Drivers Licence
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in retail would be desirable
