ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting for Bar Waiting team members to join the team in Hucks. From greeting guests and taking orders, to food and drink service, you will be the first point of contact for all our guests, so excellent verbal communication skills are required. As the face of Center Parcs you will make a great lasting impression and ensure that guests return to us over and over again.
Other responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant / bar area, cash handling and bar service.
HOURS OF WORK
We have various contracts available working on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week but you'll always receive at least your contracted hours each 4 week period.
We have the following contracts available, you can choses the one most suited to your personal circumstances:
  1. Weekends only 48 hours per 4 week period, working 5:00pm till 12:00 midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
  2. You will be contracted to work 96 hours per 4 week period, working 4 evenings out of 7, including some weekends, shifts are 4:00pm till 10:00pm.
  3. You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period, working 5 shifts out of 7. The shifts would be a mixture of 1.30pm till 10:00pm and 5:00pm till 12:00 midnight.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
  • Due to bar service, applicants must be over 18 year's old
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both adults and children
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Ability to perform under pressure
Desirable requirements:
  • Previous experience of working within a customer facing role, ideally within a food and beverage environment
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Service or equivalent qualification
