We're noisy about food. We taste it, try it, argue about it and when it's exactly right we enjoy it. When we opened the first Carluccio's in 1999 our aim was to provide this love for authentic Italian food with a memorable experience to all our guests. The aim remains the same today. Over the years, we have grown to over 100 restaurants, with a plan to open another 10 restaurants a year.....and keep on doing what we love.

What will I do
The support, training and development you'll receive as a Carluccio's General Manager will hone your skills and build your confidence, giving you a level of expertise that will make every aspect of your job more enjoyable and rewarding. Our bespoke induction will help you master every aspect of running your own Carluccio's, from our authentic recipes to our wine list, our supplier relationships to our financial systems, our staff recruitment and development to our community engagement. You'll learn your stuff alongside fellow managers, not just at our specialist training academy in Islington but also in Italy, where you'll be introduced to some of our key suppliers, and learn about and sample the best of Italian food, wine and culture.

Benefits include regular training courses at our training academy, selling competitions with opportunities to go to Italy, meals while on duty, a 20% discount on our deli produce and discounts when eating at our restaurants. You'll also be entitled to 28 days' holiday, and eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to £12,000.

What will I need
To be a Carluccio's General Manager, you'll need to be an inspiring, hands-on leader with a great eye for detail, a love of Italian food and a commitment to great service. As you'll be guiding every area of the business - from the deli to the bar, the restaurant to the kitchen - while also building, nurturing and developing a happy, high-achieving team, you're probably already an experienced, highly skilled manager, used to achieving great results in a busy branded restaurant.
