Our Butlin's Resort is currently looking for an HR Advisor responsible for supporting the resort teams with day to day HR queries, processes and initiatives whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with procedures, policy and employment legislation.

About the role:

  • Ensuring we have right people, right place, right time by focusing on accurate rota's 4 weeks out
  • Ensure all new contracts and types are meeting the needs of the business and not impacting on the guest experience
  • Day to day management and support of absence and holiday policy to ensure there is no impact on the guest
  • Managing the holiday process ensuring team take the appropriate time off
  • Embedding the absence management policy and ensure managers are recording absence and following up with their teams
  • Management of long term sick cases
  • Driving the use of the talent management system (Talent Toolbox) ensuring managers are having reviews with their teams
  • Supporting team leaders/managers with any ER issues
  • Project work given by HR Manager/Operations Manager

About you:

  • Experience working in a fast paced culture lead organisation providing HR generalist support
  • Successful track record of dealing with and delivering HR operational tasks
  • Strong personal impact and relationship building skills, with the capability and energy to drive change
  • Experience leading projects and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong influence and communication skills
  • Able to provide fair and consistent advice
  • Consistently demonstrates good influencing skills
  • Ability to support people through change
  • Can do attitude and a team player
  • High pace, resilience, gravitas and high level of credibility and customer service
  • CIPD qualification desirable or willing to work towards it
