Wedding and Events Sales Advisor

Responsible to:  Sales Manager

Support positions:  General Manager & Group Sales Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve monthly and annual events sales targets.
  2. Contribute to reaching and exceeding the monthly and annual group golf and membership targets.

                                                                                                                                  

Daily tasks include:

  1. Handling Telephone enquiries following the company standard by fulfilling the criteria set out on the Telephone Enquiry Assessment Form.
  2. Touring prospective members around the venue following the company standard by fulfilling the criteria set out on the Tour Assessment Form.
  3. Responding to Web Enquiries within one hour by telephone where possible.
  4. Processing prospect information accurately onto the prospect system and following up all enquiries by setting actions on the prospect system accordingly.
  5. Processing bookings onto the system accurately and correctly.
  6. Making a minimum of 15 outgoing quality contacts per day on the telephone.
  7. Generating new leads as per the activities agreed on the planner.
  8. Contributing to the planner by putting ideas forward and carrying out activities on the planner set by the Sales Manager.
  9. Maximising upselling opportunities.

                                                                                                                                      

Event Management:

  1. Meet and Greet event and golf day organisers.
  2. Target events and golf days on the day for re-booking.
  3. Prepare and issue detailed and accurate proposal and contracts.
  4. Chase up deposits and signed terms and condition forms in line with the company procedures.
  5. Liaise with organisers regarding final numbers and requirements.
  6. Efficient handover of all events to the Food and Beverage team including the final meeting and handover of the Bride and Groom to the Food and Beverage event co-ordinator of their day.
  7. Initial follow up to events using the company procedure. 

                                                                                                                                                   

Responsible for:

  1. Knowing the product.
  2. Ensuring that all sales procedures are being correctly implemented and used to generate new leads and convert enquiries to business.
  3. Being self-sufficient on lead generation, through effective follow up calls, initiating referrals, outreaching and any other means deemed necessary by the Sales Manager.
  4. Own conversion rate in line with the company expectations.
  5. Attending Sales Meetings when appropriate.
  6. Meeting deadlines.
  7. Being fully conversant with the Club’s Health and Safety policy and emergency procedures for fire and accident, reporting any accidents in the prescribed manner.
